About
Our story.
Our journey started in 2007 when we identified the need for integrated and outcome oriented services for young people from refugee and humanitarian entrant backgrounds.
Our services began, when CEO and Founder, Abeselom Nega, a refugee himself, recognized the lack of support services available to people from refugee and humanitarian backgrounds.
As a community not-for-profit organisation, iEmpower provides holistic services that recognize the complex problems that young people are faced with in todays society. iEmpower work with partners in both the community and government sectors to develop and implement joint solutions to develop, enable and empower young people to become contributing members of Australian society.
