Our story.

We began as a small not-for-profit in 2006 in response to the growing need of integrated services for highly disadvantaged young people from refugee and humanitarian entrant backgrounds who are most vulnerable and at risk.
Our services began, when CEO and Founder, Abeselom Nega, a refugee himself, recognized the lack of support services available to people from refugee and humanitarian backgrounds.

As a community not-for-profit oragnisation, iEmpower provides holistic services that recognize the complex problems that young people are faced with in todays society. iEmpower work with partners in both the community and government sectors to develop and implement joint solutions to develop, enable and empower young people to become contributing members of Australian society.
